- Strata combines AI, computer vision, and dermatologist-informed methodologies to help users better understand changes in their skin over time.
- Strata is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses or direct medical treatment.
- Early scans may be less accurate while Strata learns your personal baseline.
- AI-generated insights may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate and should be interpreted thoughtfully.
- You can request deletion or export of your data at any time.

Strata combines artificial intelligence, computer vision, longitudinal analysis, and dermatologist-informed methodologies to help users better understand visible patterns, trends, and changes in their skin over time.
The insights, scores, visualizations, observations, and recommendations provided by Strata are intended to support skin awareness, monitoring, and informed skincare decision-making. Strata is designed to surface meaningful changes and patterns that may otherwise be difficult for users to track consistently on their own.
Strata tracks changes relative to your own historical baseline and does not compare users against a universal standard of skin health, attractiveness, or beauty.
While Strata may incorporate guidance informed by dermatology experts and clinical research, the platform is not a substitute for an in-person evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment plan from a licensed healthcare professional.

AI & Analysis Disclosure
Some Strata features use artificial intelligence and computer vision systems to assess scan quality, detect visible skin characteristics, generate trend analyses, and surface personalized observations.
AI-generated outputs may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inconsistent and should be interpreted as supportive insights rather than definitive conclusions.
Skin appearance can vary significantly due to lighting, camera quality, angle, environmental exposure, hydration, hormones, sleep, stress, skincare usage, and other external variables. Because of this, Strata may defer surfacing certain observations until confidence in a signal is sufficiently high.
Over time, the accuracy and personalization of Strata's insights may improve as the system develops a more complete understanding of your individual baseline and historical trends.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strata and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any insights, observations, or recommendations provided through the service.
Your use of Strata and reliance on any information generated by the platform is at your own discretion and risk.
Dispute Resolution
By using Strata, you agree that any disputes arising out of or relating to the platform, these terms, or your use of the service will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, except where prohibited by law.
You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration proceedings.

By continuing, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are voluntarily submitting photos and skin-related information for analysis.
- You understand that results may evolve as Strata gathers more historical context and baseline data.
- You understand that early scans may have lower confidence while the system establishes your personal baseline.
- You understand that trends and observations generated by Strata may change over time as additional data is collected.
- You will not rely on Strata for urgent medical decisions or emergency care.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any photos uploaded are yours or that you have permission to share them.
- You understand that no system can guarantee absolute accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or complete security of digital data.
- You understand that Strata is intended to support personal awareness and longitudinal observation, not clinical evaluation or diagnosis.
